Cambridge ESOL's internationally recognised Teaching Awards are taken by over 12,000 people each year. They provide a route into the English Language teaching profession for new teachers, and first class career development opportunities for experienced teachers.

Certificates

TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test)
This flexible and accessible award focuses on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers, whatever your background and teaching experience.

CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults)
If you'd like to teach English to adult learners, CELTA is the best known and most widely taken initial 'TESOL/TEFL' qualification of its kind in the world.

CELTYL (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Young Learners)
This is the qualification for you if you'd like to specialise in teaching English to children or teenagers.

ICELT (In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching)
If you're already teaching English, ICELT will help you to improve your skills in the context in which you're currently working.

The Delta Modules (Diploma in English Language Teaching)
The three Delta Modules provide professional development and opportunities for career progression for experienced English language teachers.

DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults)
DELTA has been replaced by the Delta Modules. Information on this website is relevant only for continuing DELTA programmes which started before September 1 2008.

IDLTM (International Diploma in Language Teaching Management)
If you're a language teaching professional looking to take on management responsibility, IDLTM is the management training course for you.
