ALTE launches new website

15 April 2009

The Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE) is pleased to showcase their new website with easier navigation and regular news updates.

The new user-friendly format has a host of updated features including regular news updates, event details and general information about the group’s work.

ALTE was initially formed by the Universities of Cambridge and Salamanca in 1989 and has since seen membership grow to 31 representatives covering 26 European languages. It works to establish common standards for all stages of the language-testing process in Europe.

The new website has an events section which is currently taking registrations for the 36th Meeting and Conference, on 22–24 April in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Since its official launch back in March, the website has been very well received. To find out more about the work of ALTE including details on event registration.
